Is it True that after 3 Days of No Sleep you start Hallucinating?

I mean more or less. Cuz every one is diffrent. But could it be like LSD? It would also be nice to know a little bit about not sleeping at what that can do? I mean what happens if you never sleep do you die? Whats the longest an one's ever went with out sleep? But thats just extra creddet.

I used to have insomnia and not sleeping for several days is not a pleasant experience. You also become totally irritable, have lack of judgment and the hallucinations are not the LSD trippy kind - it's more like you're in a fog and not thinking clearly. If someone goes too long without sleep, they can slip into psychosis. I don't know if this is still the worlds record, but In 1963, Randy Gardner set the world record for staying awake: 264 continuous hours (11 days). Sleep deprivation can certainly kill you, it destroys your immune system.

still wanna try it? LOL!

might be
Yes..it's happened to me before.
I don't know. I've never stayed up that long before. I would assume that your brain turns to mush.
When the body needs the sleep.you will have no choice...do not fear
good boy,if you no sleep 1 day you see a Vampire or horrible Monster.
go and sleep.Good night.
I've been 2 days without sleep, by about 10am the second day everything feels like a dream. I'd imagine that without sleep you'd get ill and eventually die if untreated.
I would think you could go insane from lack of sleep, Im not sure exactly how long you have to go with no sleep before you start trippin, but I am pretty sure it would be longer than three days. Its very unhealthy because your mind ( like a computer needs this time to reboot) Im also pretty sure that if you go without sleep for to long then your body will give out and you will pass out. Because your body and everything will shut down. Ive never heard of anyone dying from lack of sleep but I wouldnt think that it would not be possible. A lot of people down through history have used this as a method of torture.
Last but not least I have went about 46 hours without sleep and then pretty much just passed out. I dont think I could take a whole three days lol.
You could get that after just 2 days I bet. It shouldn't harm you much if you do it once or twice, but I guess there's only one way to be sure about that. I've read about a man who didn't sleep for years because of a rare medical condition. Didn't kill him apparently. Good luck with your investigations.
I drove road trains for years and I know that after a few days of no sleep you do start hallucinating, also dogs die after a couple of days of no sleep so humans wouldnt be far behind.
Well, you could try it and come back and tell
us all about it!
You may not die cause your body should pass
out on it's own with or without your consent to
do so,and if you desire to know how long one
can last without sleep, you might try looking it
up on a search engine?
i would say that after 3 days of no sleep you would start seein things that arent really there i remember someone telling me that you only need a couple of hours sleep a day, when you think how much sleep you get and to how much your wasteing your life away 4 hours a day sleep is sufficent dont you think. i know you woudnt die if you never had sleep im not sure wots the longest someones gone without sleep but id love to know get back to me k you live life better if your not sleepin all the time trust me you have more of your life think about it
Yes, it's true. And yes, without sleep over an extended period of time you will die. Studies have shown that rats will expire after 8 days of no sleep. There is a very rare inherited condition called Fatal Familial Insomnia, in which the person will gradually get less and less sleep until they don't sleep at all, then after about a month they die. This condition is only seen in members of certain families. Don't try to keep yourself awake for days at a time, it's really not good for you.
It would be more accurate to say that after three days of not dreaming, you start to hallucinate. There have been clinical studies performed to investigate this.
