When I have bad Diarrhea, my stomach growls real loud between bathroom stops. What is this?

Sometimes, I try and hold it in and my stomachs cramps up and hurts real bad then growls like it sounds like there is air in my stomach. What is going on? Should I hold it when it does that?

your body is trying to get rid of whatever is in your system. Drink lots of water or gatorade so you won't get dehydrated.
