what could happen if you smoke while you are pregnant?
Answers:
Technically, yes.small birthweight, increase risk of SIDS, underdevelopedlungs and a colic baby cause the baby will go through with drawl when born just like anyone else who is used to having nicotine in their systems. One the other hand, I am just telling you this as a person, not as a medical professional..I smoked 4 smokes a day when I was pregnant, the ones right after meals...and I had a perfect 10 apgar baby, the biggest baby born in my entire family history, with absolutely no after effects. He is now 10, straight A student, athletic and everything.
Its pretty much a risk factor during your pregnancy.
Your baby will smoke with you!
Under weight and premature babies.
Your child might end up with lungs cancer/ other lungs disorders
low birth weight
DON'T SMOKE WHEN YOU'RE PREGNANT!
Three words: DON'T DO IT!
The baby's growth could be affected by the diminished oxygen supply and be born too small. Respiratory problems could be an issue as well. Smoking during pregnancy is not good for the baby (or the mother) in any case!
