I work in an ER...A 10 year old girl had the same problem..She was affraid of the doctors and nurses..hell the Hospital itself scared her. She went in the ER and came out feeling better and was happy. So if a 10 yr old can overcome fear..then maybe you can too. Get it checked out right now that it is early..you don't want it to get out of hand and become something serious.
Find new parents is the first thing I'd do
Just go..
I know how you feel sometimes I hold off , but that doesnt help anything. Go get it off your chest so you can breath again.
This is very simple, you must go regardless of how much you don't want to. Think of it this way, going will remove the pain. You won't even feel pain in the healing, it's just that good to go. You go and it's gone, there's absolutely nothing to loose.
You're a med student??.. you know better then . your question is really stupid really.
go see the doctor... you know you have to in order to solve the issue.. there is no geting around it... just stop thinking about it and do it ... the longer that you procrastinate, the more damage that you can be creating for yourself... just think if you let it go too long and let something rupture... please do it for yourself... you do want to graduate Med school right. Go seek treatment... It really wont be as bad as you think. best wishes
Your health is one of the most important things. You should see a doctor as soon as possible because it could be something serious and the longer you wait, the more severe it can become, thus making it even more difficult to heal. Ignore you parents and see a doctor. Never underestimate these sort of things. I'm surprised a med student would ever hesitate to see a doctor. Good luck to you.
I don't want to come off b*tchy but aren't you a big girl? Do you really need someone to tell you that you need to seek medical attention, especially being a med student? Don't worry about what someone tells you or doesn't tell you for that matter look out for #1, yourself, because no one will do it for you! This could be something minor but could turn out to become more serious if you don't get it checked soon! Be smart and suck it up and take care of your body...you only get one!
just go to the doc it might turn out to be somthing mild
good luck
I know how u feel.just try to calm down and relax and think properly.u need to get it cheked because if not u may really need to have surgery.u r old enough to take care about urself.if ur parents don't care then seek help from any other adult.but never let this more than that.
u will be fine so don't worry
