My mother is unable to drive, How can she get her medications mailed to her on a regular basis?

My Mom lives in Pensacola Florida. Her pharmacy does not deliver. Where can she apply for help?

Sunscript Pharmacy on Davis Hwy. 484-5582 - I'm not familiar with this one
Thrif-T drugs Inc on Bayou 484-4338 and on Jordan 433-2165 (also has a mail out service)

If your mother is on Medicare, she could get them delivered through Medicare. Walgreens is one of the pharmacies that Medicare uses with mail order prescriptions. You might check with them as there are several of them in the Pensacola area.

Maybe a neighbor or friend from church or something could pick them up for her.

Have her call her insurance carrier many offer mail in pharmacy and generally give 3 months of meds for less than going to the pharmacy she will need new prescriptions for 3 months from her doctor.
My health insurer has a deal with a mail-order pharmacy. I'm sure many Medicare D insurers do as well. Try.
Try going to libertymedical.com. They may be able to help you, if they can't then they will know who can.
Try Bioscrip Pharmacy Services (800 347 3216). Once they get the prescription they can refill based on a phone call and will always mail for free.

Call her insurance and they should have a carrier that does mail order prescriptions.
