How will mold make you sick?

The place I moved into has a lot of mold. The bathroom was painted but now the paint is wearing off and it has mold everywhere! How exactally will this harm us,does anyone know?

Answers:
You can have sever allergic reactions to the spores in mold, and this can cause you to have breathing difficulties, itchy skin, and sometimes it can become very severe to where you are having constant headaches and can lower wear on your immune system, making you more susceptible to illness.

PLEASE have it removed. Only professionals can truly remove mold completely. You can try spraying it with bleach to kill it, but without the proper tools, you will just spread the spores throughout the house, making it worse.

In the meantime, make sure your house is DRY. repair ANY and ALL leaks. use a dehumidifier if you life in a humid climate, make sre your bathroom exhaust fan WORKS and that you use it EVERYTIME you take a shower to remove the humidity from the air.

If any carpet is damp, you'll need to replace it AND the padding underneath. You can also use a cleaner called MOLDZYME (google for it) But again, mold remediation usually needs professionals to remove all of the mold infested materials and completely replace it

Respiratory infections. In most places, this is a landlord issue. If you're renting, bring it to the landlord's attention, they have to take care of it. If you bought the house, there may have been a material misrepresentation, seeing as how the mold was there and painted over.
first you should call the health department to inspect what kind of mold ,so can kill or give you flu symtoms
if it's rented move.
if it's yours, have someone fix it.

basically, as i understand it, the mold likes growing in a dark, wet, place.

like your lungs.
