Whats the problem?
Every night when i come home from basketball conditioning i have these cramps in my upper thigh what are these things called i dont think they are some regular cramps either because they sure dont feel like it

you need to stretch out properly after physical activity. just stretch your thighs after practice a little.
You are stretching your hamstrings.
Are they charlie horses? Do they feel like big, knotting cramps? You need to stretch better, stretch after you warm up, and stretch at the end of practice. It should help them go away.
