So, ya'll that have no health insurance, what do you do?

Seriously, if you get sick, what do you do? Go to the emergency room? If you get a cavity, what do you do?

I pay for the doctor visits and the dentist visits.. so I don't go very often.. I have a cheap doctor and I have a expensive dentist. but I manage to make it barely. I tried to get medical insurance and they wanted to charge me $900.00 plus a month for medical alone. as I have a pre-existing condition. People do not understand that some day almost every person will have some sort of pre-existing medical conditions. and may lose jobs and be without. we need to change the system.. IT IS NOT WORKING... :(

two options: 1.) deal with it, 2.) pay several months worth of rent for going to the hospital
havent you seen all the people with black and missing teeth, they have no dental ins. yes go to the emergency room. its about all you can do. or try to get on medicaid.
If i get sick I drick sunny D Hard to belive huh I hate all that cough medician and cough drops and stuff. I just go to my check up with the dentist and he'll fix them all up and then when it's my next check up I usually have new suprises 4 him to fix up and I get nice teeth again. : D < SEE J/K well that's what I do and I don't get sick that much b/c all I drink is water b/c I think pop Is gross most of the time I usually only have 1 pop a week. And i don't eat candy that much either to SWWEEETT! so yep. The Sunny D is the best 4 me.
as far as the emergency room goes some hospitals have forms available in the human resources dept that you can fill out to recieve low income status or do not have to pay at all depending on your income level, you can go to your local health dept to recieve some services such as vaccinations,birth control,pregnancy tests etc. My state offers dental clinics through the health dept. Also based on your income level you and or your child if you have one can recieve a medical card which covers basically everything through the health and human resources dept
