the night before last i came down with a minor headache. Thinking nothing was wrong i went out with my boyfriend to a carnival. Throughout the day i had only cereal, noodles (from the restraunt my boyfreind ate at) and i shared two slushes and cotton candy. In the middle of the carnival i started getting a sharp pain in my stomach which spread to my back. I ended up not being able to sleep and puking all the time. I went to the local doctor at 3 a.m. he couldnt say what was wrong. He just drugged me up on stomach meds and pukinh meds. Which made me puke even more. Yesterday i only had a little bit of soup but my stomach still hurts. Not like before but the headache is there, I feel sick to the stomach, dirreiah (sp?) and nothing can lay on my stomach cause it hurts so much. anyone have any suggestions. I dont wanna go to the hospital if it doesnt seem serious. Thanks

you had food poisioning. the worst kind. it starts with a headache and it can be from something you ate 48 hours before the headache started. do not take anything to stop it from coming out just let it go. keep sipping gingerale and crackers. there was a flu that had a headache with it, but usually the symptoms were further apart. You will be fine if you ate anything with chicken or eggs then I would guess it was food poisioning. for me it was a pie. didn't know the pie was made with eggs and the cheif left it out to defrost. did not know that he could not do that. You can take tylenol or ibuprofin.
It could be a migraine.
