What causes ocular dominancy?

why some people have right dominant eye? others have left dominant eye?

You're just born with it, like right-handednes, etc..
probably genetics
It's the same reason as why you are right or left handed or is one foot bigger than the other. It's all in the internal wiring. Genetics accepts the blame or gets the applause for most of our natural tendencies.
