I'm wondering what is in your home cooked food. I'm thinking that you have an allergy, intestinal parasite or a careless cook.

Start by eliminating anything with milk (cheese, yogurt etc...), tomatoes, wheat, berries, nuts and chocolate. Then slowly add things back, one thing at a time for a week at a time. Keep a diet journal.

The other possibility is giardia, which is an intestinal parasite. Have you just come back from overseas? You can get in the States when you go camping or even at restaurants. All it takes is someone to not wash his hands and put fecal matter on food. Anyways, this can cause nausea, floating stools and many other problems which can come and go for years. Go on line and write "giardia and symptoms" for the search. Flagyl is the medicine that kills parasites. Make sure it is the only drug you take if you take it and DON'T drink alcohol!

Finally, the "home cooked" food is a red flag. If this only happening in your home, who is preparing the food? You or someone else? Is all the soap being removed from the dishes when washed? Do your own cooking and make sure all the ingredients are fresh and not being left on the counter collecting bacteria. Some people are very careless about cooking safety and don't refrigerate as they should.

Good luck. I hope you feel better soon. In the mean time, chew a couple Pepto Bismol before every meal for the next three days and see if there is a difference. This product should take away the nausea at every meal.
you didn't give much to go on, whether you are female or male, age etc, my best educated guess, get a pregnancy test done.
How are you preparing the food? You could be allergic to certain foods or to cooking oils, etc. See a Dr.
are you pregnant?thats how it started for me
