Anybody who has been to Winnebago Mental Health Institute..?
I need to know if you are fully strip searched for having suicidal thoughts. And I need to know if you take showers together or seperately.
Answers:
Either call your doctor and ask him or if he doesn't know, call Winnebago and ask. Most places you take showers separately and they usually search you for suicidal thoughts if they think that you are very much at risk. Your belongings and outerwear are also searched. If you are signing yourself in, you have the right to refuse to do so until they answer all of your questions before you are admitted.

I have never been there, but if you are suicidal, I can almost guarantee you that they will search you in order to keep you from bringing in anything dangerous. I don't know about showers sorry.
