Are there men with Asperger's syndrome that don't look like stereotypical nerds?

Are there men with Asperger's syndrome out there that look handsome and/or masculine? I was just wondering because I'm a young lady with the disorder and it seems all the men I know that have it look totally effeminate or geeky.

Asperger's Syndrome doesn't exist. It just gives people an excuse to be shy or be a social hermit.

I am sure you will find someone you love. They like you try their best but Aspergers is a disorder where social skills are a hard thing.

I have worked for many years in the mental health field and this question surprised me. Many of the men, as well as boys, I work with that suffer from Asperger's wouldn't qualify under any stereotypical category. Do you look any different than any one else? I would think you wouldn't and if you did, it would not be very noticeable. Asperger's is in the autism spectrum, but does not look like autism -- both physically as well as mentally.
I know of a 16-year-old with Aspergers who is very handsome! Not at all geeky!

I look anything but geeky. I usually wear black jeans, black t-shirts, black leather jackets and black boots and I'm peirced 4 places in my left ear, and I have Asperger's.

It sounds like you want someone who goes to bars. At a bar, you can find handsome and masculine men who will take advantage even of women like yourself who have Asperger's. After being slapped around and cheated on by the masculine guy you so desire, you just might appreciate a little more the Asperger's nerd. Have a nice day!
