my! well, if and how you'll feel withdrawal symptoms would very much depend on the frequency of use i guess. if you did it almost every day you'll have to expect some mild to moderate depressive symptoms. they'll clean up after a couple of weeks, but while they're on you'll have very low energy levels and will find it quite hard to live with yourself. it's good to remind yourself that these symptoms will disappear over time. also keep busy and be nice to yourself, it helps with the depression and will keep your mind off the weed. you might experince very mild physical symptoms too, headaches mainly. if you're prone to migraines they might get better or worse. the main thing to watch is the depression, the rest is pretty much fine.
The danger of lung cancer remains.
Your head will clear up slowly but surely but the mental addiction may be very hard to break other than that I didn't go through to many problems after almost 20 years of daily use good luck
My goodness! Congratulations first of all, I suppose you won't feel quite as mellow anymore, but I can't think of any negative effects it would have on you to quit.
As in withdrawals? You won't have any. It's not an addictive drug like a narcotic.
Quitting anything after so much use will be emotionally and phsyically draining. Just remember that there is a reason you are doing this, and keep with it the best you can.
Keep very active during the first month--that is the hardest time. You need to build new and healthy skills. Sounds lame, but MOVE-exercise is what I mean. You will produce hormones that make your body tired and you will feel better in most every way (except the initial introduction of excercise, which means muscle fatigue).
Just find another hobby to consume your time.
every time you think about think of the affects that it can do to you
ex. cause cancer or etc.
I am really impressed that you have decided to do this!! Think of the great effects that it will have on your health and your pocket book.
I am only guessing, but I would think that your side effects are going to be like quitting cigarette smoking. Naming two would be mood swings and cravings.
I have heard that if you take a bath in epsom salts it will help take the nicotine out of your body. I am wondering if this might help you. I would also see if you can find out how long the marijuana stays in your symtoms. Like smoking, I would assume that once the drug is out of your system (48 hours for cigarettes), everything else will be all in your mind.
You might have to change who you hang out with if you find it too difficult to be around friends who share your habit.
Also see if there might be a support group or find a good friend who supports your decision and let them be available to speak to when you are going thru a tough time.
Keep positive thoughts, do nice things for yourself and hang in there
Good luck!! :)
hmm.well cannibas does not have any withdrawal effects and is not physically addictive. it could, however, have become a habit and you may have a mental craving to fulfill that habit. i was addicted to nicotine and quitting smoking was hard for me. of course, these are two totally different drugs but as i said the HABIT of smoking on a regular basis might get to you. if this is the case, the best advice i can give is to keep yourself busy. always have something to occupy your time and be productive so you don't even really think about weed. hope i was of some help.
It's not physically addictive, so you won't go throught withdrawal, but you'll feel wierd because you won't know what to do with yourself.
