Is there a difference in generic prescription drugs such as zoloft?

I STARTED ON THE GENERIC VERSION OF ZOLOFT LAST NIGHT AND I FELT FUNNY THRU THE NITE IT COULD BE MY IMAGINATION

The active ingredients are the same as the name brand drug, the inactive ingredients which ara basically binders that hold the tablet togethor may be different or in different concentrations. FDA testing for generics are very simple, basically testing the generic on a relative handful of people to insure that the same effects are achieved. Occasionally, some people can have reactions to the generics, usually allergic reaction to the different inactive ingredients.
Any generic drug has the same chemical properties as its named brand counterpart. They are just a hell of a lot cheaper for you and the insurance companies.
