Hello Im looking for a family that has a child sick with mental problems in Tennesse?

We want to move to Tennesse and we have a child that has mental problems and she is 23 yrs. old. And i want to ask is there any programs that are in home support services! Or else benifits!

Depends on what part of Tennessee you are in. I work in mental health field in east Tennessee. If you are coming to this area we have a program where a case manager comes to the home everyday and delivers medications and the doctor comes to the home once a week. There are also intensive outpatient programs that meet 4 hours a day 5 days a week. any further questions you can e-mail me at hbrowder2003@yahoo.com

i don't live in tn. but i am a mental health worker and i may be able to get you in touch with the right people. contact your local community mental health agency (cmh) i am currently filling out my paperwork for licensing. that is another source you can check. under the buisness section of a phone book look under group homes. as far as in home help you might want to check with local mental health agencies. if you place your child in a group home please make sure it is the best choice. sometimes care isn't what we would like it to be. make suppries visits. i have seen a lot. why do you think i want to open my own group home. i don't like the way these agencies run their homes. not all homes are bad though. i also have worked in some really good ones who care. i wish you good luck and if you have any questions my email is territons@yahoo.com
