training and work placement for untrained and unexperinces social worker?
i have completeted a open uni cerf in health and social care and am doing nvq level 2 but can't find anyone to employ me so i can complete my degree

I don't know how strap you are for money, but sometimes volunteering can get you a foot in the door? Why not contact some voluntary sector agencies in your area for volunteering opportunities. Once you gain the experience you might find it easier to get a sicoal work assistant post until you're ready to do your DipSW.
Have you checked with the General Social Care Council? Maybe they can help. Also check on Socialwork Student UK website as there may be others in the same boat.

Try offering your services voluntarily, very few places will refuse you working for free they need all the help they can get. It will also show your are serious about wanting to work in the field.
i have had a mental health issue for 5 yrs,i have not been able to work, my wife supported me through it all,then there was light,i worked for a local charity as a volenteer for 12 mths,loving every moment, now i am a project support worker working with people with the same problems i had helping them back to work,great feeling,keep at it do a bit for the commuinity and it will all work out.
