Drug addicts and lying?

As someone who has been around Drugs my entire life. Both my parents were addicts. I can tell you from my own past experience that Th Lies most likely started because of the drug, but it is no longer the drug causing the lies. He is probably to a point where he lies about things without even realizing that he is. And Yes it most likely is a disorder of it's own by now. but a disorder that most likely would not exist if he never would have started doing the drug!!
Hi At a guess I would say that even lying can be a habit first he lied about one thing or another and now he just can't stop himself. I feel if he ever gets off the drugs he is still going to find it hard to stop lying and for the most part people that are drug users normally have an underlying mental health problem that they are trying to 1. hide from or 2. self medicate them selves for. good luck.
they all do that. the drugs eat at their brain. its sad.
People who are addicted to drugs tend to hallucinate and they likely see things that are not real. Seek for medical assistance and ask for some advice and suggestions.
