Hi there...I was on Effexor a few years ago and i would have to say it helped me a lot and i did too have dizziness for the first week or so that might be perfectly normal side affect until your body gets used to it.The best thing to do is talk to your Doctor about it and see what he has to say.Good Luck.
yes it is a side effect, and it will go away as your body adjusts to the medication.
Yeah, sure have. It is normal. It takes a while for your body to get used to it. If it gets over bearing call the pharmacist or your doctor to see it you should wait it out, of get off the meds.

i tried this stuff and reated very badly to it ,it made me feal horrible i tried to stick it out and just kept fealing worse i eventally had to stop it cold turkey which in the end i am even more anxious talk to your doc.
Give it some time. Your body will most likely get used to the drug and the dizziness will go away. Try if for at least 2 weeks and then you will probably have to up the dose. Make sure you work with your doctor on this to get the maximum gain. It is a very effective drug so give it a good trial before you give up on it.
Good luck
Yes it is a side effect. It takes a good 4 weeks for it to get into your system.I take 150mg and have done for 6 years, i have found it really helps. Give it time if you feel no better after e few weeks go back and consult your doctor.
