what's the easiest way to get anti-depressants..?
how do i get them without a psychiatrist prescription? can a regular medical doctor prescribe them too and for how long? or can you get them over the internet without a presciption (what sites)?
Answers:
any doctor can prescibe them; depending on the disorder, you can be on them for a few months or a few years
there's mail order rx services that allow you to call and get refills
don't buy any drugs on the internet; they're probably not safe
good luck
Any doc can prescribe..
See a doctor. You can get them over the Internet but there is no guarantee of their quality.
My doctor of internal medicine prescribes my Effexor.I would not try to experiment on your self!.Anti-depressants can make you VERY suicidal. You need to discuss with a Doctor which ones are best for you.I went through hell after taking Paxel. The side effects were Much worse than the problem. You need to take them for a full 6 weeks to see how they react with you.DO NOT get scrips on ANY web site,You have NO IDEA what you are getting.EVEN the ones from Canada have slipped by without the FDA approval.
It is often unnecessary to see a psychiatrist for medication unless you have a very complicated disorder, IE schizophrenia, thought disorders, paranoia, borderline disorder, psychosis, etc.
However, for those people who need treatment for depression as you mentioned, most medical doctors can prescribe antidepressants. I think there are ways to get them illegally on the net, but for what purpose? Finding the right antidepressant is tricky because every person responds differently. There are all types including SSRI's and a wide range of others. It sometimes takes a few tries to find the right medication AND the right dose. You also should be monitored by a medical provider with some of the meds to be sure that you are not having adverse reactions.
Prozac was a wonder drug of its time and opened up all kinds of new options, with drugs that do not modify your mood but instead work with the brain chemicals (like serotonin) for chemical imbalance. We are fortunate at this time in our life that good drugs are available, but they should not be taken for granted without medical knowledge.
If you are wanting to order secretively because you feel embarrassed, please know that so many people take them and it is not your fault if you are depressed! It is common. I don't know what other reason to take them without a prescription, but if money is a factor *tell your doctor* because often they will have samples to give for free. Pharmaceutical companies also have special programs to provide free drugs, but you need to consult with your doctor.
Depression is treatable, so I do hope you will take this seriously and allow yourself a full and happy life!
i only know about getting them perscribed.

Your primary care doc can prescribe them. I wouldn't order them illegally if I were you.
my reg family doc gave them to me. i am lucky though because the therapist is in the same docs building so all she needs to do is have a talk with my family doc when she has a question or she wants to change my meds after our session
