Did anybody use to take Prozac and then switched to Lexapro? What was the difference? Is lexapro better?

I'm on Lexapro now and its really helped since being put on it 2 years ago. I'm taking 20 mg now, but started out on 10 mg, the uping of the dose has really helped me more thats for sure. Though I haven't taken Prozac, I've been told that Lexapro is better for your mood and doesnt have as big of a side-effect of depression as Prozac can sometimes have. All in all, Lexapro is you better choice all the way around. Good Luck though with whatever choice you take.
i never took prozac.but lexapro made me sick.
i switched from wellbutrin to lexapro then went from 10mg Lex to 20mg then to 40mg, 40 was way too high, weaned myself down to 20mg and its been working fine, sorry i dont know what prozac is like, im thankful for lexapro
