Has anyone ever tried Primal Therapy?
Answers:
I had IPT (Intensive Primal Therapy) in 1984. It was a program where I had 2-3 hrs of therapy twice a day for a minimum of two weeks. Since I lived away from the center there was an apt for out-of-towners to stay, located 2 blks from the center. I have had other kinds of therapy over the years. Therapy, like so many others things effects people differently. Different kind of therapy work differently for each person. What is effective for one may not be effective for others who find a different form of therapy more beneficial. I'm sure there has been new books written on IPT since 1984, but the material I read was written by Cecil Osbourne, who I had the opportunity to counsel with, he has since passed. He wrote many psychology books that were very helpful for me. I would say that IPT was an effective part of therapy for me. I found the different types each beneficial in different ways.
i do it all the time when i'm driving on the highway. nobody knows and i feel great after. i'm a pretty happy person and i think it contributes.
