what are some ways to reduce or get rid stress or depression?
Answers:
Physical exercise will solve both problems. Some depression is caused by an imbalance of checmicals in the brain and can be corrected with medications which inhibit the uptake of certain checmicals so they build to high levels in the blood, but Physical excercise will do the same, and its cheaper.

Read.anything that interests you. Its great therapy.
If your depression is very bad, then you should go see a therapist and get on some medications (but please make sure that you do both things, because it works better!)
Some stress relievers are: exercise, get organized, unclutter your life (like your room, office, etc), don't take on too much (learn to say no to somethings/some people), surround yourself with positive people (nothing drains the positive energy out of your life like negative haters!), get enough sleep, eat healthy, learn to balance work/school and leisure time, and take time out for just yourself!
Relaxation therapy works pretty good. Try some deep breathing excercises. Yoga works well and if you are really depress see a Therapist or a Psychiatrist they may be able to put you on medication to help you be not so depressed.
get out and do something. take a walk, dance to your favorite music, make something, give someone a gift.
Make sure you have at least one thing a week to look forward to. Make sure that you are eating well and getting plenty of sleep.
Take time for fun and don't work too hard. But don't lay around too much either. Get out there and live!
I'm also going through a program called "Attacking Anxiety and Depression" that helps some people. It's geared more towards panic attacks (which I sometimes have) but they say it works for depression too.
It's based on the fact that your stress and depression are caused by negative thinking. If you can change those negative thoughts you'll feel better!
If you look up a bit you will see a search bar, typ in depression or stress and voila you have sooo many Q and Answers on it. this Q is being asked all the time.
However My advice is to stop listening to music, watching tv and video games. at first you will seem more depressed. but after a while you will come out of it bigtime. I use to be but theis really worked 4 me. I hope you will at least try it. you will need to be presistant though. as for stress, calmamile and lavender are the best to help you relax. there are many articles on the internet about it also. go to www.about.com and click on a link to stress management. it is very good, it has many newsletters. it also does depression and sooo many other things.
I hope this helps
