Dreaming that your mother has passed away and she has been dead for months?

But I keep dreaming her everday and when I take naps too. Even my sister to she has been dreaming her too. Does any one have any reason of this or have ever experienced this would you let me know ASAP. I keep think it's cause I have not been to grave since she died. I get really depressed everytime I dream of her. I have been put on antidepressants cause of this to. So if somebody could please tell me why I have these dreams let me know or you have experienced the same thing let me know. Thank you so much.

At times we dream about deceased relatives or friends simply because we miss them. These dreams may be disturbing but most likely are a form of wish-fulfillment or are based on memory through which we relive old experiences. Some people believe that in dreams they meet up with the deceased on the inner planes and engage in "real" interactions with them. It is normal to miss and long for the people that we loved and that have left the physical body. Therefore, it is not surprising that they will pop up in our dreams from time to time.
your still greiving, and as is ur sister..antidepressants can make u worse so becareful..
I'm not sure, but it's good you've gotten help. I dream about my Mom, it will be three years next Tues. that she died. I think you tend to dream about things you try to repress in your daily life...your subconscious lets them out. Keep talking with the dr/therapist that gave you the antidepressants.
Quit the drugs and go through the grief process. It is Natural and OK to be depressed by the passing of your mother. Your subconscious mind is trying to get through the process but you taking anti depressants is probably holding you back. Let nature take its course.
I use to dream that my mother was sitting at the end of my bed talking to me. I had those dreams for about 6 months after she died. She went way to early, she was only 48. I went to see a therapist and was also put on antidepressants because I was having a hard time functioning. I finally went to see her grave which was in another state and that seemed to help. I think it was because I needed some closure. It has now been 5 years and I am doing much better. They always say time heals all wounds. I don't know if that's true but I know it helps. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
Hi sorry to hear about your mum, dreams are sometimes our sub conscience ,try not to think of it as a bad thing dreaming is your memory and your feelings you are still grieving and you will for awhile your mum will always be in your life as memories and dreams , think about it as you loving your mum and the dreams are part of your grieving and your not ready to let go yet , i lost my best friend 4 weeks ago and i think about her every minute of the day and dream about her its not a bad thing its part of me still remembering her just like you remembering your mum it will get better with time but your mum will still be part of your memory and dreams just like my friend will always be part of mine , anti depressants will slow you down and you wont feel yourself but you have to take yourself of them slowly as they can have bad side affects if you come of them to fast , you could also go and see a councellor to talk about your feelings that always helps , think about those dreams and memories of your mum as her being there with you you dont have to forget her and things will get better with time , i wish you all the best
