Agoraphobia?
Answers:
I am no doctor but have dealt with a similar problem for years. I think your primary problem is anxiety ( intense fear or nervousness or worry spun out of control ). Anxiety can cause numerous body symptoms and one most common is irritable bowel syndrome which in turn is causing for what sounds exactly like agoraphobia ( not doing or avoiding certain situations or all situations in fear of something ). In your case a BM. I was very agoraphobic in fear of having an anxiety attack in a public place. Your gonna have to let go of the fear and deal with it. the more you avoid things and outings the worst it will get. Start slow and try to go to places where a bathroom is nearby. Trust me, you have to be strong and face it and it will get better sooner then it will get worse
You might want to look into seeing a therapist.
That person would be the best qualified to help you with your situation.
What they would need to do is get to the root of the behavior and figure out what was the trigger and go from there.
Good luck.
Online tests are not meant to be taken seriously. If they were, everyone I've ever met would have every disorder imaginable and even some of the made up ones!
What can you do? See another doctor about a second opinion. Perhaps a psychiatrist or a psychologist, both are better trained to diagnose and treat mental disorders than family doctors (although the family doctor can do it).
You seem to have some Agoraphobic-like tendencies. They used to treat it with zanax--a benzodiazipine--and some docs will still prescribe sedatives and the like. I've heard tell that one method of lessening the tension is to imagine yourself there already, another method is to slowly but surely increase your distance from home. Say you want to go to the dress-shop six blocks away. day one, see your self at the second block and then go there. on your way home tell yourself that any morbid fear you had was all in your head--just a little bit of a quirk. Day two go to block three or four and on until day three. You can make it to the dress shop by now or you are having a more serious issue with agoraphobia: irrational fears of leaving the home or going to certain places--you know they are irrational but can't seem to not fear it. That's my unofficial definition of Agoraphobia: Much more common in women, and often it will fade as yours seems to be doing.
Oh yeah--the method of walking one block and then two and then three, is called desensitization: you'll be O.K and it will keep on getting better so long as you tell yourself it will and take small steps. if not--see a Doc of the head. Good Q!

your case could be agoraphobia or social phobia. All the same it is a anxiety based disorder which can be treated by anxiolytics or anti depressants with psychotherapy.
