Can Xanax be taken with Prozac?
I am wondering because I was started on Lamictal and I take Prozac and to be honest, I do not trust the doctor.

My son takes Lamictal, Lexapro, Abilify and Trazadone. He used to take Xanax XR and it was fine. He took the Xanax with the above listed meds. You will be fine.
hell yeah, just open up and let them slide. Better if you crush and snort the xanax. Plus, the xanax makes painkillers feel waaaay better.
Ask another doctor or your pharmacist. I wouldn't go with advice from here. especially for something like this.
First of all find yourself another Doctor that you have some trust and faith in. Secondly ask a pharmacist if there are any drug interactions with the drugs you are taking and the ones you are questioning taking. Thirdly, Xanax is extremely addictive so be careful. Take it exactly as prescribed and do not go off of it cold turkey after you've been on it for any extended period of time because there's a good chance that you will experience withdrawel symtoms if you do and they are no fun.
I was on Prozac and Xanax for five years. They are two completely different drugs. Prozac treats depression and Xanax treats anxiety. They are perfectly fine to be taken together.
