What do you tell people who are always complaining?
Do they get on your nerves? What do you tell them or secretly wish you could tell them? Apart from the usual Get a life- comment.
Answers:
I'll tell them that life is what you make it and if all is so terrible that all you can do is complain then you might as well pack it in. Positivity, that's the key in the ignition. With no pause I propell to pole position.
Is this a complaint?
You say "shut the !@#$ up and deal with your problems!"
When they start going on I kind of kiddingly say, "Your life must suck!" or "Poor You." Usually they get the point, but if I do it right it's not so mean that they get mad.
I tell them to be optimistic, and stop the negativity. If they don't quit it, i simply separate my self from them.
it could be worse!
"Shut the hell up before I stab you!", works pretty well for me.
I used to complain about not having good enough shoes, until I met a man who didn't have any feet.
SUCK IT UP.THERE IS ALWAYS SOMEONE THAT HAS IT WORSE THAN YOU DO! BE GRATEFUL YOU ARE ALIVE!
i would say shut the F%&@ up and quit complaning
it could be worse , you could be me and have my life
To start naming things they are thankful for.
You say as you hold one of your hands half way up " TALK TO THE HAND. TALK TO THE HAND "
SAY EVEN THOUGH YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE ALOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT , WHEN ALL YOU DO IS COMPLAIN I CAN'T REALLY ENJOY OUR TIME TOGETHER. TELL THEM YOU KNOW I HAVE ALOT TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ALSO BUT I DON'T WANT TO BURDEN OTHER PEOPLE WITH MY PROBLEMS.
tell them that if they are unhappy, they need to make a change. If they dont make a change, then they need to stop complaining
Stop complaining!
totally get on my nerves.I wish I would say" your the kind of person who'd complain if you were hung with a brand new rope"
say "do you want some cheese with that whine??" or say "build a bridge and get over it". or "here's a quarter, call someone who cares" (yeah, I know that one is old). or say "do I look like I care?" or say, "wow, you don't get laid much, do you?"
just tell them, "well, it could be worse." or tell them to shut up and tell someone who cares.
You are breathing, you are alive, and you can actually do whatever it is you want in this lifetime. If they live in the United States they have freedoms that only others dream about. If you want to go to school you can, if you want to work you can, if you just want to be a bum, you can. So stop looking at what you dont have and focus on what you do have and realize that you are luckier than 70% of the world that are only wishing for a clean place to sleep and food to eat. . .
drink a cold soda and eat some kitkats
I usually tell people to write and keep a gratitude list. Constant complainers get on my nerves and out of my lift. I am positive and will try to influence people in that matter-if they continue to complain-especially over the same thing and don't do anything different to change the situation--I move on.
I do my best Governor Schwarznegger accent and say:
STOP WHINING!
