anyone out there suffering from anxiety attacks?

start every night just before i go to bed. i'm tired and falling asleep then i just freak out and have to JUMP out of bed and pace the house turning on all the lights! am i going crazy? feels like it

My therapist told me to try and relax at night before I fall asleep. Squeeze your fists a little, hold it for about 5 seconds, and let go. It really eases a lot of the tension you have in your body and muscles. It helps me out a lot. Try and practice a few breathing methods. Take a deep breath, hold it for about 5 seconds, and then exhale slowly. It helps.

i have this problem i take lexapro 30 mg and 2 mg of ativan u are not crazy u just have panic attacks i get it when i try to relax also what kind of job do u have?

well anxiety attacks have been part of my life for like18 yrs so if theirs anyone to answer this question id say it would be me. It doesnt just affect at night though you could be panicky i have panic attacks also thats why my heart rate is so high all the time i get so nervous inside i feel like im dying and before i got help i though i was lod\sing it big time couldnt sit couldnt eat couldnt sit still,i had all these bad thoughts running through my head i dont know to much on how you are feeling all day long but if it is oinly at night i dont know it could be a sign of it go see your doctor or make an appointment with a phychiotrist im on meds and it works,good luck and god bless youll be okay.
