Does your environment shape you? And how does it?

Answers:
I would say that the external events that surround us do have an effect on our behavior, perceptions and interpretations of it. We are shaped by whatever happens to us; nevertheless, we are not like a leaf that is carried by the wind. We have the ability to think and react to the stimuli of our environment. We can influence our environment and become part of the environment of others. Yet, there are some situations that limit our ability to act upon them, for instance, natural disasters. We are affected by our environment but we do take an active part in shaping it.
