why do i dream while still awake?

hello im 16 years old and this has been happening to me lately , it happens just when im going to sleep , instantly after i close my eyes i start dreaming knowing that im awake and this happens a few times before i can get to sleep

That happens to me a lot too. I think its just a really light form of semi-sleep.
It's called daydreaming, j/k it happens to me too, but I have no idea why

You might have a case of insomia. Or it may be something like stress. Try writing in a journal or finding a friend to talk to about all you problems that stress you. Or if you a guy maybe you might pick of a stress relievin hobby. Try working out, it relieves stress and makes you feel better.

that happens to me .and last time it happend..and i was on the phone and i said "ami going to see u in lunch"all randomly
Well what's the dream about? Whatever the dreams about might be whats on your mind but what your pushing away. Clear your mind by writing whats on it. And even if its bad do the same thing but also confront the problem. Other than that i'd say you just might be bored so you dreamabsent-mindidly.
