I think they have mental disorders because they are acting against to norms of life. Which is a girl and a man makes sex to have children otherwise from where children will come from. For God sake wake up people!!

this is too easy... just ask in a polite manner and they will answer you if they are not ashamed of themselves. Possibly could be a closet gay person.

If you want to know if someones gay, you wont know unless you do one of two things: 1. Ask them, or 2. sleep with them. I would think those two key points should give you the answer you seek. Good luck

I have a buzz cut.
I never wear make-up, dresses, or any jewelry but earrings.
I'm studying physics.
I like computer games, sci-fi, bicycling, and D&D.

I'm also straight.

Don't assume anything about people's sexuality. It's only one aspect of their lives, and who you like often doesn't have much to do with your personality or your looks.

Incidentally, a gay friend of mine:

Is female
Wears both makeup, perfume, and nicer clothes than I do
Has a short but feminine hairstyle
Works as an acupuncturist and studies Eastern religions

If you saw only our looks, you'd have the thing completely wrong. And likely, you'd embarrass us both by hitting on the wrong person, depending on your own preferences.

Half the time, gay people will TRY to "look gay" because they want to make the point, "Hey, we're here, and we're not going away, so deal with it". And the idea that all lesbians look masculine and all gay men look feminine is utter nonsense. Maybe, on average, they look a little more feminine/masculine--there are theories about hormone levels pre-birth--but that's an average, not an indicator.

Do yourself a favor, and don't depend on "gaydar". It just doesn't work. You may detect about 30% gay people, and embarrass or offend the other 70% who may be, like me, just eccentric, tomboys, or men with fashion sense.
What difference does it make if the person is the gay, or the straight? If they are not the hurting anyone, who cares? Unless you are the interested? No offense. Have a the good day. :)
