Answers:
slice the inside of there forearm. This will sever there muscles preventing them from being able to pull the trigger. Next stab them in the throat so they cant scream. Don't stab strait b/c you might get the knife stuck in his neck bone. Then stab under his rib cage upward towards his heart. This ends it nice and quick.

The real way to survive is stealth. Either that or confusing your enemy. Diversions,traps all that stuff. If its to late for that, go for cover when reloading attack him.
