It sounds as if you are struggling with some depression issues. Everyone on earth has times of happiness blended with times of unhappiness. It is the "extreme" term that you have mentioned here that indicate that you have a problem with depression.

I have struggled with SAD, which is a disorder based on the lack of sunlight during the winter months and gloomy, rainy days. I have found help with the use of sunlight replicating lights in my house.
I have a wonderful life, great family and pets, a great home, work that I love.
These wonderful things do not have any bearing on depression .

that could also be manic depression if you are hesitant to go to a psychiatrist then u can go to google and type in depression and you will get a symptoms list that will list all symptoms to it i have had depression before and it does sound like you have a form of it but weather its manic depression or normal depression i am not qualified to determine
Sometimes you don't need a "reason" to be suffering from depression. It could be an internal problem. When things are going best for me personally, sometimes my symptoms are worst. It's very confusing to say the least. I choose to see my M.D., instead of a psychologist - you may want to try that.
you know you are not the only one that is feeling this it actually normal we live in a very pressured time ..how ever depression just does not feel funn. and i know . i have tried antis they made me feel worst then depression it self ..thay are bull... ! in the back of your mind their is something that hurts you in the back of your mind you know their is nothing that you can do to solve it. ok so you decide to see a consular. you talk till ya blue in the face and their sitting their with their eyes open and thay are dead asleep. i dont know love you just have to get ahold of your self and and save your self. dismiss this salfih world win be happy for the ones you love and the love of your self.we are not alone .
