Do you think I need 'memory card'?
Ok, here is my problem. Some of the things, I remember to exact detail and most of the stuff I just forget. I don't understand why that is. It is completely involuntary and I do not have any control whatsoever on what I remember and what I forget. What can I do to help myself or to get or take for myself that would help my memory.
WARNING: Only attempt answering if you can help. If you are here to simply get points, you have picked the wrong question because if I get stupid answers like, "oh i don't know" or some other Smart-Alecky comment, I will report you. Trust me. :)

This is kinda hard to answer for a variety of reasons. You didn't indicate your age, and that may or may not be a factor in memory loss. I seem to be experiencing it more as I get older. Tho I suspect you're young (if your avatar/picture is any indication) so I'll rule out age. Also, you didn't indicate whether this has ALWAYS been a problem or if this is a noticeable change that has occurred recently. With the limited info you've provided, I can on only offer a few things to try until you get the remedy you need. Limit your use of ALCOHOL and/or DRUGS, if any. (We ALL know that's a SURE way to kill off a lot of brain cells.) Get proper SLEEP & NUTRITION. Drink lots & lots of WATER (8 glasses a day should be the MINIMUM.) I read that dehydration makes you look and feel like you're out of it (i.e., braindead!). Besides that, WATER controls body temperature, your skin REALLY needs it, your kidneys, your bowels rely heavily on it, etc. (You get the picture?) And of course, there's EXERCISE. Something about the way the air gets into the blood stream (aerobics) that wakes a body up. I get a lot of GREAT ideas and I really COME TO LIFE, after exerting myself, just a little (I really should do it more often myself !) Other than that, maybe there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with your memory. That's just the way you're SUPPOSED to be and just learn to love yourself the way you are ! However, if it continues to be a problem where its really affecting your life or work in a bad way, etc. you should probably talk to your doctor for the direction to go. Hope this helps & good luck!
You can take some memory courses. One of the audioable CDs i found at orange county library (enhance your memory - Dave) helped me to rembember a lot. Let me share with you one trick. If you want to rembember an event or an phone number. close your eyes and see the words on the back of your mind and spell it backwards. Doing it once it gets into the memory and whenever you want to get it back just close your eyes and memorize I improved by that. Some people use to keep a paper in their pocket and always write it down but i did not like it as its says a person who drinks lots of coffee feels fatique more than the person who does not drink coffee. My memory grasping power came down when i started writing on paper. See whats best for you.
