who can tell me about the side effects they have had from well butrin..the doc prescribed it for fatigue for

me.and i dont know if i want to start taking it..i have read about the effects but just wanted some feedback from someone who has taken it...did it work well for you??

Welbutrin is prescribed for many things. Quitting smoking is one. Fatigue is a symtom of depression. Welbutrin gives me enery, takes away my depression and desire to smoke, and gives me an appetite. Good luck to you! Kitty

I have honestly never heard of it being taken for fatigue. It is for depression. If you are not depressed then I honestly wouldnt take it. Depression medications are addictive and do give you side effects. If you are simply fatigued take sublingal b-12 every day. It helps me a lot. I have mono so I have just about the worst fatigue lately and it helps me so much. Take your vitamins and exercise. I certainly wouldnt take it for fatigue but im not a dr. Maybe get a second opinion before taking it.

I've been taking Welbutrin for about a year or so. It has helped me with my fatigue. I take 100mg in the morning and 100mg at night. No problems at all, and yes it has helped with my fatigue. the only side effect I have noticed is that I feel a little more sleepy than normal. Good Luck to you..
i have never heard of wellbutrin being taken for fatigue but it has minimum side effects. u should ask about provigil that will put some pep in your step
I took 2 doses and had to stop immediately as I experienced high blood pressure from it, and I mean dangerously high. My son takes it and he is bit less anxious, but otherwise I see no difference.
