Is it even possible to get over your bi-polar disorder?
Answers:
This is the trick.don't always believe what your senses tell you and always question your own motivations.
Sure with proper medication...for the rest of your life.
No, unfortunatly not. It is a psychological disorder caused be a chemical imbalance in the brain. However, there are plenty of medication available that help keep the problem under control. Virtually all people affected by this issue lead normal, healthy lives.
no, if you truly have bipolar disorder you have it for life, it can sometimes be well controlled, and some people don't even take meds for it. it all depends on your particular case. i have never seen any one person with bipolar have exactly the same symptoms. my suggestions to you are to find a good psychiatrist and therapist you are comfortable with and keep very accurate records of your mood fluctuations ect.
Yes. This guy did and he was worse than you. Uplifting story and info about overcoming it naturally. See mental issues.

You need to be on meedication for the rest of your life if you have that and you also need to have therapy
Nope sorry honey but it isn't possible for Bipolar disorder to just up and go away. You can get better though as long as you take your meds like you are supposed to you should be fine.
You can't"get over" Bi-Polar disorder. It's a mental illness. You can manage it with medications and therapy.
Yes, The Lord could heal you!!
No. Just stay on your medication no matter what and you will be OK. A large majority of homeless are bipolar and thought they were OK and stopped taking medicine. No matter how you feel take the medicine every day for the rest of your life and you will be OK. No one will be able to tell you have it as long as you stay on daily medication and you can live entirely normally.
if medication has not been helpful you might try neurofeedback.it has been shown to help and the results are permanent.
No, it is not a "Curable" disease, but medication therapy has allowed many, many, many people to lead normal lives.
Bipolar is something that you have for the rest of your life.. I was diagnosed with it several years ago and I've tried countless medications.
It really depends on the person, though, when it comes to what will work. I, for example, didn't respond well to medications.. No matter what they were, they only seemed to make things worse for me. Nor did I do well with Therapy.
I quit taking the medications and going to Therapy almost 4 years ago and I've never been better. I've never felt better.
I suggest going to a doctor and trying some of the countless medications that are available. But before you try anything, be sure that you ALWAYS know what the side-effects are, etc.. If, like me, you don't feel comfortable talking about your personal life to a complete stranger, or even someone that you know who is a Therapist.. You don't really need to.
Sometimes simply making changes in your life can help.. Figure out what makes you depressed and what makes you happy. Try and change the things that you do accordingly.
If your job makes you depressed. Try getting a new one.. If you crave contact with other human beings but you can't bring yourself to just go out and meet people. Trying going somewhere with a friend, talking to more people at work.. Or simply doing things that you enjoy on your own that will put you in a position of possibly meeting someone new.
If certain activities or situations trigger your depression. Try to avoid them.. Or, if you must do them, do something that usually makes you happy afterwards.
If you're depressed, force yourself to get out of the house and do something. Alone or with a friend, it doesn't matter, as long as it cheers you up.
Letting a friend know that you're bipolar can help too.. Explain it to them, make it clear that you're still the person that they know and love. And you'll have someone, other than family or a Therapist, to lean on if you need them.
I still have problems. As all people do.. But I refuse to let bipolar rule my life.
Here's a good site for information: http://www.dbsalliance.org/info/bipolar.html
It also has a link to find bipolar support groups in your area or nearby.
