What makes you happy when your life is in a rut?

When my little wonderful dogs jump up and down when I walk in the door. Can't help but be happy when I see how happy they are to see me.
Talking and sharing my troubles and problems with a good friend who is willing to listen and help. That'll make me happy.

Pray to GOD, or become Muslim by trying to understand the religion (read Qu'ran translated in English if you don't know Arabic). really u will get peace of mind believe me..
I felt like that a few months ago.

What I did was check out the old television show DVDs from the public library, plus some movies I hadn't seen and also some music CDs I hadn't heard. I thought the library just had awful boring media, but when I went to the online catalog, I found out there was a waitlist for the good stuff. I ordered about 200 items so plenty of things would come in every week.

Most everything I do I can do to music or while watching or listening to a DVD.

Since doing this, I have found that it is exciting just watching my name move up on the waitlists and anticipating what will arrive for me each day. It is fun getting free stuff.
I almost died about 18 months ago..I was sitting at home one day and suddenly got sick..went to the hospital..all my major organs were shutting down.I was close to dying.you really don't need all the gory details..but the doctors didn't know what was wrong with me..I prepared myself for my death.spent a long time in the hospital..but I lived...you know every day since then has been a gift.I don't ever forget how fortunate I am/was.no 'ruts' here.
