Long term effects of Extasy?
If taking E in moderation, (like weekends only, or 2-3 times a month) what are the long term effects? I use to be smoking pot everyday and now that I stopped and been doing this almost every weekend or every other weekend my mind seems to be more on top of itself than ever. Is this safer? I KNOW E can be very bad, but what if with some moderation? Can this drug really not be that bad? Thanks.

Oh yeah. Not too long ago, X (or it's chemical abbreviation MDMA) was a promising analog of methamphetamine in clinical trials for use in psychotherapy. You know those warm, fuzzy, everybody loves me feelings? It was thought that this could be exploited to achieve healing and resolution of suppressed emotions more quickly. Only thing is, what the docs discovered that over time, no matter what the environment, the test subjects started showing symptoms like paranoia, aggression, and panic attacks, as well as a host of other symptoms of psychosis and/or borderline personality disorders. More recent micrographs of neurons in MDMA users' brains show enlarged, uncharacteristic growth, possibly due to disruptions in neurotransmitter levels and permanent damage to the body's ability to produce them. This is some bad s**t. Go back to pot if ya gotta do somthing.
go back to smoking pot... it's safer as long as it's not laced! E makes people do f*ed up stuff and yes it can kill you, especially when it is mixed with alcohol and other drugs!
yea trust me..get off tht sht as soon as u can..it can f u up.
it just burns holes in you brain. no big deal.
2-3 times a month for E is NOT moderation. If you do it more than that you won't roll much anyway
1-2 times a YEAR is moderation. I'm telling you, from personal experience, you need to give it up. It's a nasty downward spiral and your brain will never be the same.
There are no known tests to determine the long term effects as yet.
But why wait to find out?
Any poisonous substance introduced into the body, short term or long term, will be detrimental to a healthy body.
