I think that Schizophrenia is such a sigmatised disease that people are afraid of knowing what it really is?

My name is Bobby Rungta. I got schizophrenia disease when I was 14 years old. People think that's it's manageable...no.it's not. Try living with it.for one day.

Bobby, I've been living with it for 19 years now. I have often felt that way in the past. I don't know how old you are, but if you haven't had it for very long, then please do not give up hope. Finding the right medication for you is the key. It's usually alot of trial and error. It took quite a long time to find the right meds and dosages for me. Clozaril has been known to help those with the most severe cases of schizophrenia. Unfortunately its not for everyone, and they usually use it as a last resort when someone doesn't respond well to other meds, because the clozaril can do something to your white blood cells, so a weekly blood test is required for as long as you are on it. And think of this, there are new medications coming out all the time. I'm sure they will find the right one and dose for you. I know it is hard. You are living with an illness, but it won't always be a disability. I know it seems unfair that we have been dealt this hand, but you have to take what you got, and play your best. I agree with you. My sister works in the mental health field, she has to deal with many people that have many different problems.

Many people hear Schizophrenia and automaticly think multiple personality disorder. rather different things that are some times together, but still different problems.
