At what age do you forget everything but the past?
Answers:
I took your question to mean 'at what age do older people stop caring about anything except their past'.
In the case of my aging parents (now 78) I would say they haven't cared for anything modern for at least 20 years now. They seem to enjoy reminiscing to each other about the old days mostly.
So I would say about age 55.

I think it depends on your current mental status. My grandmother is 85 and can still tell you what she did 50 yrs ago. She remembers the now better then I do. I couldn't tell you what I had for dinner last nite but she could. So I think it just depends
I was on prescribed medication for sometime. I was about 60 and I do not remember what happened from 2001-2004.
That's more due to state of mind than actual physical age. Some never forget the present & revert solely to the past. Some do at a very early age due to disease. And some enter this state due to altered mental status caused by medications, or trauma.
The age factor usually has an effect on short term memory, not long term.. Old folks can keep you occupied, with stories from their past Where they have a problem is remembering what they had for breakfast yesterday
