What are the things you do when you're depressed?

for me I'd listened to disco/dance music and after a while I'd started to dance and become happy again

Eat brownies, warm right out of the oven while watching a dvd of my favorite tv show.
I would go to my room and listen to music or go jogging or walk to the beach with the dogs. Anything just to get my mind of the thing that made me upset! You know concentrate on something els. It helps for a while!

When I am beset by depression I like to work in the garden , walk in the woods looking for mushrooms and most effeciive of all , I pray.
Pray to Jesus then exercise like playin basketball or biking.
talk to my closest friends and play the piano. i dont start blaming people eg. you are the reason why etc.
eat , smoke and sleep it off
play with my dog.. DOgs are man's best friends.. haha the furry animals makes me happy..
go for a walk
watch cartoons or a funny movie
blow bubbles
warm bubble bath
color
sing
throw rocks in a pond
exercise
do something nice for someone else
buy fresh flowers
call an old friend
hand out with a pet, if you don't have one you can go to the pound or shelter and just visit with a homeless one.

just something that makes you stop thinking about how bad you feel.
I listen to music, too. Justin Timberlake's song (from his 1st album), "Take it from Here" just does the trick every time. I call my Mother, the nicest lady in the world. I ask people to pray for me. I drink orange juice or eat an orange. I go around the block to the lake ~ always beautiful.
