does anyone know where i can get coupons for medication? effixor or topomax? i need help.?

Answers:
Ask the practitioner who prescribed them if she can give you samples or coupons. You need to be honest about your financial situation and most practitioners will work with you. If she has no samples or coupons, ask if there is less expesicve alternative available. If the practitioner doesn't want to work with you find a new one. This one doesn't care.

You won't find any coupons for those meds. Does your doctor have any sample boxes he can give you? They usually get a lot of them from the reps. If it's a financial hardship for you, sometimes if you contact the drug manufacturer, they might be able to help you.
I've never heard of coupons for anti-depressants. There's no generic for effexor right now, so it still cost $$$. I'd try Wellbutrin..it has a generic and seems to work well and is affordable.
I take a generic for Celexa and it's only $5 a month. Good luck.
I don't know where you're from, so this may be different, but I'm from Canada and take Effexor - I have a good medical plan that pays for a big portion of it and that really helps. If you don't have a good drug plan through work, you can purchase one like Bluecross and the monthly fees might be less than what you'll save on the prescriptions. Also, ask your pharmasist when you're getting prescriptions filled if there are any generics that are cheaper (they will be the same medications, but not have the brand name on them, so they aren't any different) - he or she might be able to point out some alternatives.
