I am afraid of eating in public.because I think that my hands and face or head might tremble. What is the medicine for this. I need a professional to answer this.and someone who have experienced the same.

According to the reading I have done regarding hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) the brain, when it senses that blood sugar is low, will do sometimes strange things to get the blood sugar (glucose) out of storage and into the blood stream. Making muscles exercise on their own (tremble) is one sure way to do this.

Suggestion? Take 4 big deep breaths - inhaling and exhaling - but not holding or doing fast. Does that stop the trembling and relieve the anxiety, for a moment?

If it does, next try making your neck and hands and face move. Stretch your neck, shake your hands, wiggle your eyebrows, make faces with your mouth. Does this stop the trembling momentarily?

Then, low blood sugar may be the cause.

For relatively long short term relief, eat some protein, meat, salmon and tuna are good. Also have some carbohydrate, like a handful (only one) of chips, or some carrots/celery and some nuts or peanut butter. Eat at least 2 ounces of the protein. Then drink a glass of water and do something else mildly active - like singing or walking for 30 minutes. You may find your trembling has lessened a bit.

Chronic low blood sugar can also be the cause of a whole bunch of other physical and mental nasties. You may want to check out the symptoms link on www.hufa.org, and see how you check out.
