i take lithium, does it cause weight gain and if yes, what can i do to lose some. i have gained a lot it seems...

now keep in mind you cannot just quit taking it because of this but what i would do is modify my diet such as if you need to eat..let your house have fruits for snack, or something that is low fat and dont eat alot of it..

Also if you are depressed along with this and you feel the depression is causing this what i would do is ask how i can make it so i dont feel depressed..maybe take something with it..

Watch your food intake. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, and fish. Drink plenty of water and exercise.
