Can you tell me a healthy way to sleep less than 7-8 hours (e.g 5-6 hours) and still be healthy and active?

Not everybody needs the same amount of sleep and for most people it varies throughout life.

I suppose the best way to stay healthy in spite of sleeping less is by following a balanced diet and exercising regularly.

Personally if my days are filled with things important to me I can go a couple of days on 4 hours a night and cope with catching up at the weekend. It also helps to get 'quality' sleep i.e your own preferred sleeping conditions guaranteed.

Its a personal thing really, and routine helps as well as allowing yourself the time to relax even if your not in the land of nod!


I guess this is where the weight of your problem becomes your dietary intake. What you eat will significantly dictate how much stamina you will have and how your metabolism will be effected. You would need to eat about 4 to 6 small to medium size meals a day. Contents, Check with your nutritionalist, 'cuz I'm not trying to get sued.
I think many people do this, mothers often do this for years. Just eat right and get exercise and you will make it.
i do it all the time 3 or 4 hour's sleep getup drink coffee & eat & go to work no plbm
i dunno 6 hours is all i need
