i am looking for a world wide organization for obssesive compulsive disorder that soports other societies and associations active in researching and treating obssecive compulsive disorder.we have recentely stablished iranian association for OCD and we need help.

The one that comes to mind is the OC foundation. It has a list of all the recent research.

Also for recent advances on the cognitive theory of OCD look at Paul Salkovskis, his theory and research is making advances in the treatment of OCD with CBT - cognitive behavioural therapy.
I have OCD and I know that there is an Obsessive Compulsive Anonymous which has their own "big book" etc. - AA would probably have information on other 12 step groups - also there is ahttp://www.ocfoundation.org/ - there are great clinics too - one in Maryland I believe
