anybody know anything about stress induced psychosis?
Answers:
There's not much to know. It's induced by stress and you become psychotic.
Remove the stress and give the patient some time and they get better.
The specifics all depend on the patient and the situation.
it's not fun.

Induced Psychosis, sometimes called folie a deux, is when a person shares a delusional belief with someone else. This usually includes a person with a genuine delusional disorder, and someone who is close to the person, and dependent on them, and/or substantially less intelligent.
It is classed under a group of Disorders known as the Delusional (Paranoid) Disorders.
Delusional Disorders are a form of Psychosis in which a person has paranoid delusions which are often long-lasting, and do not have an obvious physical/medical cause e.g. head injuries. Occasionally, in older people, they may be accompanied by the person hearing noises, sounds, other people talking, which don't exist called auditory hallucinations.
