Why cant pharmacutical companies make a motivation pill?
They make tabs for depression and anxiety why not a tab for getting people to be highly motivated?

If I told you to write a 10 page paper and you would be guaranteed $100 would you be motivated to write? Would you do it for $10,000 ? How about a million? Did you get more motivated as the number went up?
Now, suppose I tell you to stop being depressed for $10,000 or even a million. Can't do it can you? If you can, you aren't depressed. By definition, depression and motivation are inherently different.
You didn't ask this but depression is really something called learned helplessness. You won't get $10,000 by doing this, but look up learned helplessness Martin Seligman. You might be motivated to learn more after you do that. Action is the best antidote for lack of motivation.

Depression causes lack of motivation and so does smoking pot. I would suggest caffeine and positive attitude with exercises. Take care, Kitty
