Answers:
yes, thats the side affect, my son in law took it, you should get off it as soon as you can.
how many milligrams are you taking i take 2 mill 3x a day and have no trouble remembering things call your dr to see if this is a side effect cause this one i never heard of before
yes ween yourself off of it asap this drug really messed my friends mind up after a few month off it she is fine now gl with it as it is very habit forming
You know bieng nervous is a part of life And should not be supressed by using drugs even if your silly shrink told you to. Klonopin is a very bad drug you should get off it as soon as possible.
Sounds to me like you have a problem, you might as well boot up some herion.
>I use Klonopin, and have for 14 years.it is prescribed for me to treat anxiety. I take it "as needed". I always have been aware that it's a controlled substance and therefore I have always used it very, very judiciously.I never take it unless I absolutely have to and then I usually find that a half a pill will do the job. There are many other drugs for this condition. None (except Xanax, which can be much more addicting) have ever worked as well and without side effects.
The best advice I can give you is to work closely with your Doctor on this, follow his (or her) advice and don't worry about it as long as you're not abusing the drug. Anxiety and "Panic Attacks" are, as you must know, no fun and can really ruin a person's life.
Again, let your Doctor AND Counselor help you with this and, believe me, you will be OK. I emphasize "Counselor" because one who is familiar with the disease can be very helpful in teaching you "Cognizant therapy" (it actually works).
Memory loss is more a result of the anxiety than the Klonopin (in my opinion).
Good Luck!<
Those pills are for anxiety attacks not nervousness.
Wena yourself off them. I had to take them but would take 1/4 a pill when I did.
I never got hooked thank the Lord.
My hubby uses them too.
They do work for his anxiety which manifests with aggression.
