am i crazy?

had sex with a old freind who had her tubes tied 17 years ago and I am for some reason worried she could of gotten pregnant. She had her period a week after we had sex and I still talked her into taking a home preg test just to calm my nerves (she said I was nuts but did so I would leave her alone) it was negative. Am I just nuts like she says and have nothing to worry about?

based on everything you've written, i'd wager any amount of money that i (a male) have a greater chance of being pregnant that your OLD FRIEND does. she had her tubes tied, she had her period, and she failed the pregnancy test. proof positive you need to stop worrying.

it depends on how she got her tubes tied but if its negative a month later you shouldn't worry , just remember next time to use your own protection if this is a concerning problem, bilateral tubal ligation isn't 100% , sometimes things slip under the wire
